Purpose

This process defines the steps for assigning a certification examination to a candidate within the GEMR system, ensuring controlled access, eligibility verification, and compliance with ISO 17024 principles.

This process applies to all GEMR certification programs and all candidates seeking certification.

Process Steps

Step 1: Candidate Registration
The candidate registers in the GEMR system and selects the applicable certification program.
Step 2: Profile Completion
The candidate completes all required profile information within the GEMR platform.
Step 3: Submission of Required Documentation
The candidate uploads all required documentation, including proof of training, GEMR Skills Documentation Forms, and any program-specific requirements.
Step 4: Eligibility Verification
The assigned auditor reviews the candidate’s application and supporting documentation to confirm eligibility based on established certification requirements.
Step 5: Examination Authorization
The auditor approves the candidate for examination once all eligibility requirements are met.
Step 6: Test Assignment in System
The examination is assigned to the candidate through the GEMR platform following auditor approval.
Step 7: Candidate Notification
The candidate is notified that the examination has been assigned and is available for completion.
Step 8: Access Control and Security
Access to the examination is restricted to the approved candidate, ensuring confidentiality and integrity of examination content.

Control Measures

Eligibility is verified by an assigned auditor. Examination assignment is based on objective evidence. All actions are recorded within the system for traceability. Access is restricted to authorized candidates only.
